![]() Guests can spend any extra money at some of the shops available, like Treasure Sports which quite literally has many "treasures" to browse through like jewelry, sports clothes, and anything else needed for a day at the slopes. When the guests are done skiing, they can also head down to the bar and get Thursday's special, the Trashy Blonde, with their group of friends. If you want to try something a little fancier, they have the Wolf Creek & Pathfinder Bar, where you can get entrees and a salad bar. In addition, guests can try some of the homemade soup which is perfect to warm up after a day in the snow. The resort features a multitude of things to do besides, although who would want to go to a ski resort without skiing? There actually plenty of things to do, like eating great food at the Prospector grill, which is known to have great affordable breakfasts, but don't expect to find anything fantastic other than hamburgers, pizza, and chili. Unfortunately, due to Covid, the only lessons available for the season are private lessons. If guests don't know how to ski, then there's nothing to worry about because Wolf Creek Ski Resort offers classes for children, beginners, private, and groups. There are also back country hikes available mostly for expert skiers except for a few that require advanced intermediate levels like the Prospector Ridge or Exhibition Ridge. Guests are encouraged to always bring a friend due to the lack of patrols in the area and to make sure they leave enough time to return before dark. You can do cross country trials that span 10 kilometers and the best part about it is that there's no charge. Other lifts are the Lynx Lift for beginners and the Alberta Chairlift for those who like to tree ski and snowboard. Boyce for intermediate and expert slopes to the Magic Carpet, a conveyor lift for the young kids in the Wolf Pup program. There are ten lifts ranging from the high-speed D. There are four levels of slopes beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert with intermediate being more common. There are around 1,600 acres of skiable trails with the most amount of snowfall in Colorado, adding up to 430 natural inches each year. Wolf Creek Ski Resort is located in the Colorado mountains between Pagosa Springs and South Fork in the Rio Grande National Forest. ![]()
